Color Up Your Brioche Knitting

Brioche knitting creates such a fun, unique fabric that provides ample opportunity to play with and combine colors. In the morning, we will discuss choosing colors for your brioche projects and how different kinds of yarns will impact your knitting. Then we will look at adding more colors to your brioche knits, starting with a review of one- and two-color brioche, before introducing two approaches to working three-color brioche. In the afternoon, we will use a third approach to three-color brioche to create a colorful ear warmer!

Artist’s Bio: Jenn Lampen is an avid knitter, knitting instructor and knitwear designer, publishing under the name Synaptic Stitches which comes from a combination of her background in neuroscience and her love of creating designs that keep your brain engaged and always teach you something new. She loves creating brioche designs and coming up with new ways to combine stitches, colors, and techniques. She is an advocate of fearless knitting and believes that any knitter can knit any pattern with a bit of patience and the right resources. She is passionate about supporting knitters in taking on new challenges and learning new skills.
