WHAT TO EXPECT
The Bloomington Wool & Fiber Festival is a gathering of people who love wool, fiber, and the traditions of making things by hand. Spend the day exploring the marketplace, meeting shepherds and fiber artists, browsing beautiful yarns and textiles, and watching demonstrations of spinning, weaving, knitting, and other fiber arts.

The festival takes place across several buildings and outdoor areas at the Monroe County Fairgrounds. Most visitors spend a few hours exploring the booths and exhibits, while workshop participants may stay longer to learn new skills and connect with other makers.

Whether you come to shop for yarn and fiber, discover handcrafted textiles, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of a wool and fiber gathering, we look forward to welcoming you.

WHAT TO BRING
To make the most of your visit, you may wish to bring:

• a tote bag or backpack for yarn and fiber purchases
• comfortable walking shoes
• cash or cards for marketplace vendors
• a notebook if you are taking workshops or demonstrations

Most festival activities take place across several buildings and outdoor areas at the fairgrounds, so be prepared to explore a bit as you enjoy the day.
