In this class we will learn the basics of spinning yarn on a wheel. No experience is necessary, and a wheel can be provided. Modern wheels make spinning a truly meditative experience, once we are comfortable enough to relax while we spin. If you knit, crochet, or weave, making a project with your own handspun is magical. We forge a connection with the textile artists and makers of the past in a way that we can’t achieve in any other way. Join me for this practical and transcendent experience!
Workshop fee: $60
