Join us for an introduction to needle felting! Students will learn how to use the felting needle to manipulate the wool fiber to create an adorable ornament shaped like a penguin, owl, or gnome. Learn how to create a basic shape and how to add in the different colors and additional shapes to create your very own work of art!

Artist Bio: I am self-taught and have been felting for about four years. I enjoy creating three-dimensional, whimsical figures which I offer for sale at craft fairs and recently, at the Brown County Craft Gallery. I also do commission work. I have taught classes at the Bloomington Spinners and Weavers Guild, the Bloomington Wool and Fiber Festival of 2025, and have also taught felting to private craft groups.
