Take your inkle bands to the next level with this introductory course on Baltic style pick-up band weaving. Using the instructor’s prepared looms and supplies, you will learn to read and weave a 7 pattern thread design. With just seven pattern threads, a variety of patterns can be created. This three hour class will give you the basic steps to read and create from any Baltic design – up to 27 pattern threads! Course includes an instructional booklet to take home.

Artist’s bio: Jennifer Johnson is a textile artist, weaver, and educator who transforms conceptual ideas into physical reality through woven cloth. Driven by a lifelong passion for all things textile, Jennifer’s practice spans weaving, embroidery, tatting, and basketry. As the owner of Fiber Maker Studio in Greencastle, Indiana, her work focuses on mastering foundational techniques to unlock limitless creative expression in color and design. A dedicated community builder, Jennifer serves on multiple regional fiber boards, judges exhibitions, and teaches workshops across the Midwest, aiming to inspire the next generation of fiber artisans.
