In this class we will learn the ancient AND absolutely current art of making yarn on a drop spindle!  This is an excellent way to get started making yarn by hand because spindles are small, portable, and inexpensive.  The spindle functions essentially the same way a spinning wheel does, but for a fraction of the weight and cost!  Join me as we connect with the history of textile makers.  Spindle and wool for spinning will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Saturday morning, 9 AM to 10:30 AM
Workshop fee: $70
Materials fee: none
