In this class, we will expand on rigid heddle weaving by using a pick-up stick. We will make a sampler of different weaving techniques. We will explore Leno, Brooks Bouquet, Danish Medallions and others as time allows.
The class requires basic experience with rigid heddle weaving. Please bring a warped rigid heddle loom to class with an eight-inch wide warp 3/2 natural, white or very light colored perle cotton, with an eight or ten dent reed.

About your instructor: Pam Rensberger is a retired ER RN who is now a shepherd, spinner, weaver, dyer, and sometime knitter. She has a flock of long wool sheep which provide her with her fiber to work with. She has been raising sheep and working with their wool for over 10 years. She enjoys demonstrating and teaching fiber arts.
