Using basic rug hooking techniques, you can create a stained glass autumn window design with colorful results. Rug hooking is a straightforward technique with impressive results. Use this small piece as a wall accent or perhaps as a panel as part of a larger inspired piece. Students, please bring scissors.

Artist’s bio: Donna Jo Copeland is a shepherdess and fiber artist based in Mooresville, where she raises Romney, Border Leicester, and Shetland sheep, along with Angora goats and rabbits. An enthusiastic rug hooker, dyer, spinner, and weaver, she brings deep hands-on experience to her teaching. Donna Jo’s fiber creations have been sold across the United States.
